The headteacher Mary, decided to use the news of our wedding to reinforce a local campaign about marriage and fidelity; what it means to be in a family. Here are the children parading through the local district with their placards. Classes are regularly held for the community in our school, with family topics and parenting being the most popular. The values that we try and instil in the children are those of love and fidelity, in all its meanings. What is reasonable behaviour, what is acceptable and what is not and why. These are people who lack money but not intelligence and not the desire to improve their lives across the board. It is a privilege to help them achieve their goals, but realistically, it is against a background of very low marriage commitment and very high nos. of single mothers.
